Here are the steps to send Teacher Appreciation volunteers an email:
Go to the Parents > Talents tab.
Click on the “Find” icon at the top of the window or go to View > Find Mode. The fields will now appear empty.
Click on “Teacher Appreciation” as a find criteria.
Click on Perform Find at the top of the window (or just press Enter).
To send the found set of people an email, click on “List" in the blue bar. Now you’ll see the list of people that it “found”.
Click on “Send Email” in the blue bar and it will generate an email for you! When it asks if you what to email one or both people in household, choose “List Shown”. When it asks if you want to omit duplicate household emails click “No” because you want both people that volunteered.
If you want to make an Excel file of the “Teacher Appreciation” volunteers go to Parents > Reports (keeping your found set) and select “Contact List (Found Set)”. Then it will generate a report and you can select Save as Excel at the top of the window.
Now, if you want to find people that chose either the “Teacher Appreciation” or “Selling/Serving” (or both), here are the steps:
Go to the Parents > Talents tab.
Click on the “Find” icon at the top of the window or go to View > Find Mode. The fields will now appear empty.
Click on “Teacher Appreciation” as a find criteria.
Then click on Requests > Add New Request and select “Selling/Serving”
Click on Perform Find at the top of the window (or just press Enter). If you were to not use Add New Request it would only find the people that had selected both “Teacher Appreciation” and “Selling/Serving”
And then follow the steps above for emailing or creating an Excel file.
