Construction Administration has Submittal Logs, Field Observation Reports, Request For Information Reports, Field Order Reports, Proposal Request Reports, Change Order Reports and Supplemental Drawings.
Construction Administration
Submittals
Submittals is a submittal log to help project managers keep track of submittals that relate to a project. Click the “plus sign” to create a new submittal. The Date Received fills in automatically with current information (but may be changed). Fill in the Submittal Report. To document that a submittal has been referred to another contact, use the gray “Referred” box. Click in the “Attn:” field to select a contact and fill in the Date Sent, Number of Copies Sent and Date Returned fields. Fill in the “Copies To” field. When you are finished, choose the “Continue” button. When a submittal has been returned, enter the date in the Date Returned field.
Field Observation Report
Field Observations is a log of Field Observation Reports to help project managers keep track of Field Observation Reports that relate to a project. Click the “plus sign” to create a new Field Observation Report. The Report Date fills in automatically with current information (but may be changed). Fill in the Field Observation Report. When you are finished, choose the “Continue” button.
Request For Information
Request For Information is a log of Request For Information Reports to help project managers keep track of Request For Information Reports that relate to a project. Click the “plus sign” to create a new Request For Information Report. The Report Date fills in automatically with current information (but may be changed). Fill in the Request For Information Report. To document that a Request For Information has been referred to another contact, use the gray “Referred” box. Use “CA Set” to keep track of which Field Orders have been added the the construction administration record set. When you are finished, choose the “Continue” button.
Proposal Requests
Proposal Requests is a log of Proposal Request Reports to help project managers keep track of Proposal Request Reports that relate to a project. Click the “plus sign” to create a new Proposal Request Report. The Date fills in automatically with current information (but may be changed). Fill in the Proposal Request Report. Use “CA Set” to keep track of which Proposal Requests have been added the the construction administration record set. When you are finished, choose the “Continue” button.
Change Orders
Change Orders is a log of Change Order Reports to help project managers keep track of Change Order Reports that relate to a project. Click the “plus sign”to create a new Change Order Report. The Date fills in automatically with current information (but may be changed). Fill in the Change Order Report. Keep in mind that the Change Order Number must match the desired change order numbers in the PR/PCO log (i.e. don’t use “4” for the Change Order Number and “04” in the PR/PCO Reports, they must be the same). The Amount is calculated by clicking the red button after the Change Order Report is filled in. Use “CA Set” to keep track of which Change Orders have been added the the construction administration record set. When you are finished, choose the “Back” button.
Supplemental Drawings
Supplemental Drawings is a log of Supplemental Drawings to help project managers keep track of Supplemental Drawings that relate to a project. Click the “plus sign” to create a new Supplemental Drawing Report. The Date fills in automatically with current information (but may be changed). Fill in the Supplemental Drawing Report. Use “CA Set” to keep track of which supplemental drawings have been added the the construction administration record set. When you are finished, choose the “Continue” button.
